Meows and Woofs!

When the dogs are lonely, they walk around and play with the pigeons.

For more information, visit SPCA KL to see how you can help, directions, what you can do and sign petitions! Just support them!

The dogs rarely fight with each other... It's as if, they know that they share the same fate.

This one particular dog is sooooo pitiful. When I went near the cage, he gets so excited as if he wants to go home with me! He loves posing for the camera and he generally loves humans!

Can you see how excited he is?? He love humans more than I do and he doesn't even know that he is unwanted by his owner!

This is just A SMALL part of the cattery! From January till now, they've taken in MORE THAN 4000 cats!!! They receive 600-700 ANIMALS A MONTH!!!! Please, people, it's time to do something!

This dog is so adorable. He just sits there to keep Hapipah (the worker) company. He doesn't bother anyone... He just minds his own business just as long as Hapipah is nearby!

The kitten that was just thrown into my dustbin! It's so small, he only sleeps on my lap or when I'm carrying him. The minute I put him down, he starts meowing.

Some rotten douchebag threw a kitten into my dustbin like it was somekind of thrash!!! Wait till I get that douchebag! I'm gonna shove my shoe up his ass and down his throat!!! People like that should be in Final Destination... They should die gruesome deaths!

I didn't get any sleep last night... Have to feed it it's milk and carry it like a baby till it falls asleep! Thank God that it's not heavy or I would have really painful arms today. I have no idea what to do with it. It's small, around 1 or 2 months? Will be going to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam so I won't have the time to keep it temporarily.

Just got back from the SPCA... Everytime I go there, I leave with a sense of sadness and helplessness. Thise animals are DYING for human company. The minute they see a human, they ALL get excited! The meows and the barks are deafening! Donated money and a few stuff and it just saddens me that that's all I can do... Besides money, I can't do anything else.

So sad that I don't get to keep the kitten! This is tough. I will NEVER underestimate parenting anymore! Being woken up at ungodly hours, lack of sleep, carrying it, taking care of it, the sacrifices. See, this proves that I'm not ready to be a parent!

If you're thinking of a pet, be like me, ADOPT!!! If you want a pet, adopt! You're saving lives and money! Unless you intend to let your dogs take part in all sorts of competition, buy from kennels. Pet shops are terrible! The get puppies from puppy mills and PeTa should do something about it!

I adopted Precious from the Zoo and if you want companionship, just adopt a pet! I saw a beautiful Golden Retriever there and GR's are people's pet. They love being in a family with babies and humans but this one looked really sad to be in a cage. He didn't so anything to deserve to be unwanted..

It's sad to see so many UNWANTED animals. They have so much love and affection to offer and yet, people treat them like trash! No one in this world can love you unconditionally like a dog!

In the book Marley and me, John Grogan said that whenever he comes home, between his wife and his dogs, he greets his dogs first. You know why? His dogs will be racing out to greet him like a long lost friend while his wife will stand at the door scowling because he's late!

You can hit them, you can scold them and even mistreat them but they will always forgive and forget. That is why GOD spelt backwards is DOG! You know why? Because dogs can forgive like no human ever could and only like God!

Please, please, please do your part and help SPCA! Like what Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" and by the way I see it, Malaysia has a freaking loooooooong way to go! No wonder the rest of the world see Malaysians as barbaric poachers! The world knows Malaysia for all the wrong reasons and if that's what Malaysians are perceived as, then I'm proud to say that I'M NOT MALAYSIAN and even if I am, I'm ashamed to be one! I'm ashamed of that blue MyCard and the red passport.

Never in my life I've seen such utter disrespect for animals! People say that Thais are terrible, They treat their animals better than we treat our children! Now, do you blame me for hating humans so much? The animals will be much better off without humans. Hint: Watch Earth Without People on Discovery Channel.

Happy Eid!

Firstly, I have to credit these pretty pictures to my cousin Ilylia Kamaruzaman!

The delicious, delicious food!!! My aunt made ALL of it! From theose pretty cakes till some killer rendang!!

The family dining by the pool! It's so refreshing to dine by the pool!

Wendy, Mandy 'Baby', Me and Ilylia. All my cousins!!

More family members as well as Ilylia and Nabila and their mom!

Ilylia and Grandma. Pretty aren't they?

Photos credit to my cousin Azlira Jamaluddin.

CAKES...

CAKES...

And MORE CAKES!!

I love Eid! I really do!! I love the food, the rendangs, the cakes and when you have Malay relatives, you know you're in for a treat!!! My aunts make the BEST rendangs, meat loaves, briyani and everything in between!

They're open house are such great delights that I love spending Eid with them! I have my cousins and all. Even though, we're Chinese and they're Muslims, it just doesn't matter! We sit at the same table and share the food!

Back to the spread! They have everything to tickle your fancy! You like Western food, they have mash, bangers, cold cuts, pasta, lasagna, grilled chicken, roasted lamb/beef, and tonnes of cakes that they made themselves! You like Malay food, there's lemang, rendang ayam, lamb rendang, beef rendang, nasi briyani, sotong, sambal, layer cakes!

Normally, we only attend 1 house but since Aunty Datin Sakinah decided to have an open house instead of spending it in London, we got a treat by attending 2 open houses! Lunch became dinner for me! God, the food is good!

My great-great grandfather? No idea how 'great' he is but he's family. Because of him and his wife (picture below) we are all related! He's British btw...

I'm also not sure about his wife or how 'great' she is but at the end of the day, does it matter?

House 2.. I really love the foyer! And my aunty makes lasagna that is so good, you look forward to it for the whole year!

I'm blessed to have such great family members. They are great cooks! History is the past, I'm not interested who is related to who but at the end of the day, we're all related and who cares if we're Chinese or Malays?

Pet Peeves!

I have issues with everyone. Today's lesson is on telling people what you think about them in order to find peace within oneself. Well here goes:

MAXIS
I think MAXIS has THE MOST STUPIDEST POLICIES THAT WILL ONLY INCONVENIENT others. I have been using Maxis for slightly more than a year now and I got the number from Xavier when he came home from Aussie and he got that number from his uncle in Ipoh. By then, the Government ruling of registering new SIM cards has already been enforced and I have not even met his uncle.

So, Here I am, being a good citizen, I decided to transfer the ownership of the SIM to myself. I travelled to their office at TTDI (you know how difficult it is to find a parking???) just to hear this, "I'm sorry miss but unless you can provide a written consent from the owner, you cannot trasfer the ownership. But, you can do so if you sign up for our postpaid service....." I could have jolly well faked a bloody letter and hand it to them and they could have changed it but they're just idiots. You know how I hate dealing with idiots.

Until today, the SIM is under Xavier uncle's name. If I were to bomb a building and leave my phone there... You know who to blame...

AIR ASIA.
in 2008, our familia decided to spend Christmas in Phuket, Thailand. Since, we tend to travel using Air Asia for Asian destinations, we took Air Asia. We enjoyed the whole trip and all but our flight back from Phuket-KL was delayed for more than 4 hours! My dad is an OKU and we had to sit around in the VERY PACKED Phuket International Airport. Tempers were already flaring and everyone was tired and upset.

As soon as we arrived home, I made some calls to AIR ASIA and after almost an hour 'interacting' with the machines, I managed to speak to this 1 guy who said that I could claim 200MYR per person if my flight was delayed up to 4 hours. I did all the necessary things and you know what? It's either they are RETARDED or they used my 800MYR as a contribution to the F1 team! I have yet to receive my money until today.

I keep calling and calling, and talking to more retarded idiots and finally decided to wait for them to 'process' my money. At the lenght of time they take, I think they're probably making my money from scratch or waiting for their money tree to blossom! I hate companies that take forever to reimburse customer's money.

They forget that IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S MONEY. It rightfully belongs to the customer. I hate corporations like that. Sad to say that here I am, thinking Tony Fernandes is running a decent company. Far from that. Sad to say.

I'm not normally bitter but sometimes, we just have to say what we need to say. NO one likes dealing with idiots that needs to get laid but please step up your game. If you hate your job, QUIT IT or maybe you're just too uneducated to do so? Enough is enough. WE DO NOT DESERVE SUCH ATROCIOUS SERVICE!

Peaceful. Blissful.

Algunas fotos de donde he estado...

Mi soledad.

Mi paz.

Mi cielo.

Mi sueño.

Mi cordura.

Some pictures of where I've been! My little solitary confinement. It's been lovely here. The only place where you one can regain their sense of serenity and sanity.

¿Dónde estoy? It's one secret I'll NEVER tell!

Me!

I learnt so much being in solitary confinement. I learnt about 'ME' time! All this while, I thought that I'll be happy as long as the people around me are happy. I'm a follower, I ALWAYS follow.

I learnt that I, as a human being has needs and wants. I'm only human and everyone has boundaries. I can't always be there to solve everyone's problem. I'm not God, I have my own problems as well.

I technically didn't do anything but read and watched movies during 'ME' time. I finally watched Aliens VS. Monsters, Don't Mess with The Zohan. I read my September/October worth of TIME magazines, The CLASSIC Alice in Wonderland and Madame Bovary.

Remember how obsessed I was about e-mails? 3 different e-mails to check and everything has to sync with my organizer and a typical day consists of pencilling people in at specific time and datelines.

Here, I don't even check my e-mails or my organizer! I also used to religiously log onto MSN Messengger EVERY NIGHT and here, I just don't want to use the PC!!! I miss being with the one person in the world that I've neglected; ME!!!

I do everything at my own pace, I don't have to rush to my next appointment or text my ideas into my phones or communicate with the world. I remember that I had to write a report on life without a cell phone back in my 1st year for New Media Technology. Obviously, I faked the report. I couldn't go through 1 week without my phone! (Sorry, Mr. Bene!!!)

I've been without my phone for a 2 weeks now? And I CAN HONESTLY say that I DON'T MISS THEM ONE BIT!!! I don't miss my ringtone, my text messages or my MSN chimes! People might think that I'm crazy to spend time alone but the technical term is SOLITARY CONFINEMENT!

I don't have communication with anyone, I don't listen to anyone and in a way, I'm peaceful. Life is quiet, dull and bored.... JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT! So excited to be back on my BIRTHDAY!!!! That's on OCTOBER 8th, 2009!!!

Like what Bob says, "Who needs friends? Friends are over-rated!" I think I'm much better now. I'm slowly but surly feeling like myself! I can't wait to attend lecture on Tuesday!

And Gossip Girl Season 3 is AWESOME!!! I *HEART* Chuck Bass-tard!! LOL!

Bye!

I haven't been feeling very well... psychologically. I'm a hazard to everyone else so I've decided to keep myself away from everyone for the next 2 months. I've been angry, upset, sad, happy and generally, mentally imbalanced.

The first step in theraphy is admitting that you have a problem and right now my problem is that I'm stressed and I can't deal with my own and everyone else issues. I will be uncontactable through MSN, Facebook, +6012 number, +6016 numbers, and etc. I WILL ONLY BE contactable through my GMX email which I have access every night.

Please respect me and my personal space. I'm not interested to go out, meet anyone, or talk to anyone right now. Would really appreciate it if everyone could just leave me alone. I've listened to everyone and now I need everyone to listen to me... Handle your own shit, move the fcuk on, and get over it. Stop bugging me with every little, tiny detail because I'm fcuking sick of it.

I have to be away from everyone else until I've settled my issues. Don't try to catch me because I'm long gone. Even my parents are worried, but I will be fine in 2 months. I hope! Just let me be.... Thank you. After all I've done for you, the least you could do is to leave me alone... I don't think that it's too hard.

I will turn 22 Y-O in approx. 26D-1H-33M and I'm a little free at theis very moment so I thought of uploading my birthday wishlist!!! I got most of the things on my wish list last year and I'm hoping that I get most of it this year too!!! ;p

I think knowledge is power and right now, I'm into "intelligent" subjects like "theory of evolution" and globalization. I WILL BE UPSET if you don't know my favourite cartoon; Spongebob Squarepants!!! Last year, Darry got me Spongebob and I REALLY, REALLY hope that I get Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Patrick this year!!!

I generally got everything I wanted already. (Don't blame me, blame the capitalist society!) except my Coach watch!!! *upset* BUT, The Parentals TRIED THEIR BEST to get it for me, I just have to wait and be patient! There's nothing anyone can get me that'll make me happy.

If you're really feeling generous, please do give me 22,000GBP (£) or 128,300MYR. Either that, ALL monetary gifts are welcomed! I've been really blessed and I think I'll be wishing for my degree and a chance to do my Masters when I blow the candle out this year!

I see some of my friends who is 22 Y-O and they're already divorced with a child. I'm 22 this year and I'm single, working hard to earn my money and thinking about my future. Wow!

Yan Yan Birthday

Yan Yan The Hongkie which we celebrated her birthday!!!

Madrekins, Yan Yan and Candy cheh under the moonlight! The fresh air here was so refreshing!

The view here is so spectacular and captivating. You can generally see lights from Curve, 1Utama, Giant and generally the whole Damansara!

Thursday (09/10/2009) was just too fun! I spent the whole afternoon karaoke-ing with Bree and Nick and it was just too fun because I've been busy with everything that this was my first outing with my friends. For that moment in time, I forgot about school and work. I just had fun like a normal young girl!

Thought of having dinner with Nick but Madrekins threatened me to celebrate Yan Yan's birthday. So, spent a few hours at Borders (as usual!) and we had steamboat for dinner. Then, decided to be kepoh (busybody!) and toured Yan Yan's condo and pool!

Her place was just nice for 1 and oh-so-cosy! I really DO NOT mind moving out and living in her place. I love peace and quiet in order to be productive so, her environment suits me! Unfortunately, my suggestion got cold daggers from Madrekins.

Will be going jogging with Padrekins tomorrow morning (Monday) and I'm so excited! Hope I can wake up at 6.30AM!!! He's going to practise his Qi Gong while I jog around the huuuuuge lake!!! If only Precious behaves better in the society then I will consider bringing him. Unfortunately, he doesn't... So, he stays at home!

Recently, I fell in love with Paolo Nutini and boy, IS HE GOOD!!! I love his hauntingly, heavily-tinted Scottish accent in his voice! He doesn't sound 22 Y-O and I have him on replay, singing his heart out to me for the past 3 days!!! LOL! Yea, I love him loads!!!

Someone actually said that it is so much easier to talk to God than to me. I say, it's true!

Ice Skating and Art @ Pyramid

I'm so envious that they are able to ice skate! They look so happy whizzing by so fast without any worries!

I can't skate because of my knee and I won't be able to take another fall. So sad!

This is the promo bunting for the art gallery! This guy plans to draw Malaysian faces on 1KM worth of canvas.

It's so impressive!!! I see so many faces that I don'tknow and yet they all have one thing in common: They're Malaysians!!!

Yea, yea, officially debuting my new hair cut!! LOL!

I'm the type that appreciates the hard work and artistic talents of others and today I witnessed this guy drawing on a loooong piece of canvas and people were lining up to get their potraits drawn! He's like the modern day Dorian Gray!!!

I wanted to get my picture drawn too (for free!) but I hate waiting in line and yea.. Instead, I took a nice walk and cam whored at the "gallery"... What he did was really amazing! He plans to draw 1001 Malaysians unto 1KM worth of canvas! It's an amazing feat and he intends to get it into the Malaysian Book of Records!

I think I would want to pay a visit to Gallery Petronas one of these days... I need to know when they have some art exhibition! Anyone up for it?

El Hombre Piano!

For almost a year now, I've been seeing this Piano Man for some weekends. For a few months, I would just sit and listen to him play for hours and after a couple of weeks, we finally spoke and I found myself "LIKING" him so very much. We exchanged names and numbers and he loves seeing me and I love seeing him.

Recently, he played all my favourite songs... In public! He knows I love oldies like La Vie en Rose and Pretty Women and he enjoys playing them for me as much as I enjoyed listening to him. It's so rare to find someone who loves what he's doing and he is the one that taught me to ALWAYS love what you do and others will notice it too.

Well, he's a nice guy... he's in his forties and we've been trying to schedule some time for a drink but I rarely have time to do anything else anymore... I've always liked guys who are able to play instruments. They tend to get extra bonus points and I'm a sucker especially for those who plays the guitar and/ or piano!

My first crush was Jim Brickman and he played the piano so well and my idol is Santana and Deep Purple. Yea, grew up with all sorts of music and dad's musician friends! I grew up with guitars, In fact, my dad got my mom because he was playing the guitar at a night club! Mom was a sucker for guitar players and now, so am I! Come over to my house and you can choose to rock the house down with a specially designed electric guitar or strum an acoustic one all with amps that will blow you away!!! I know, 2 guitars and no one to play!

Recently, due to some stuff Ili called me a "mean, heartless bitch" and if it comes from her, you know that you're pretty screwed up! I need to take a good, long hard look at my life.... Till next time!

New York, New York

New York, New York at 1Utama... What did you think? I went home?

The "Little" black book. It's not as if we're ordering premium Mr. Chows!

Yan Yan and Madrekins.

This is the platter for 2. There's lamb, roast chicken, wedges, corn on cob, and deep fried chicken.

Fried fish fillet in Spaghetti and mushroom or something. Not bad.

Latin Chicken Chop. (There's nothing Latin in it!)

A culture can easily be bought and exported. New York, New York is owned by a Singaporean company and they made it look as if the restaurant is authentically from USA! They can lie to those Malaysians who has no idea about globalization but they can't fool me.

The food is just moderately OK. Nothing to shout about because i've tasted better... For example, their roast chicken is tasteless. Logenhaus serves better chicken. Full of herbs and taste. The waiters there are foreiners. Don't expect them to speak English. I mean, this is a franchise, not the real New York where most people there are immigrants!! If you want to call yourself New York, at least speak English!

Madrekins and Co. weren't exactly too happy with the food. I mean, we went there to try and that is all. Our first and last time there. Like I mentioned, the food is just mediocre. Disappointing, really.

Anyways, you have to give them the credit for attempting it make it seem as New York as possible. This was a pretty, damn, stupid day to go shopping! Firstly, I was sick and sneezing non stop! Then here are some of the stuff I wanted to get but couldn't:

1) Acca Kappa tooth brush and toothpaste. (They have neither and the only one they actually have is the tiny travelling one!)
2) The Sartorialist by Scott Schuman. (They haven't even heard of the book and couldn't give me an exact timeline when they will have stock! That's so much for Border's Customer Service)

Border's used to have impeccable customer service where they will locate the book and get it for you. All you had to do was wait there. Now, they expect you to get the book yourself. As if, we're working there and we'll know exactly where the book is located. Try copying Barnes & Noble for Christ's sake!

They get the book for you and bring it to the cashier if you have a list of books!! What is fcuking wrong with Malaysia and their customer service??? It's either they speak fcuking "Engrish" or they are just too dumb!! I mean "check" is THE SAME as "bill" Dumbasses!!!

Anyways, it's just a fcuked up day to go shopping. So much of money to spend and nothing to buy!! No wonder I was sick!!! Lunch was mediocre and nothing to buy! This was the first, we went home empty handed!

~you hate them as much as I do~
