A very SPECIAL PICTURE of my daughter: Iris Deandra... Isn't she so pretty like her Mommy??? I love her to bits!

I got my first "RADIOACTIVE" car summon! I hate this shit! Made my car looked radioactive!

Had a great brunch at Patisfrance, USJ, Subang with Tammy! Good company and delicious pastries! Yummers!

Here are some quick updates on my unemployed life! Isn't it interesting? I just spent the whole day taking pictures of my room and my weekend DIY projects! Will be up real soon! (I hope!)

Japanese Food: Dinner @ Sushi Tei, Tropicana City Mall

Padrekins is wondering if he should eat some more! He was asking if I wanted to share!!

But I was too busy cam whoring that I didn't wanna eat anymore!

Besides, I'm stuffed and Padrekins was just being a glut! He can actually eat this everyday!!!

Padrekins love Japanese food while Madrekins doesn't like sushi/ raw food/ seaweed / japanese food!

Order, order and more orders! We love the variety they have here... Pages and pages full of them!

This is the MUST HAVE everytime we eat Japanese food! Raw Salmon!!! I don't like it but Darrell and Padrekins fight over this all the time!

At least Madrekins like this! Hanasaki Ika Tempura Squid. Not bad, not bad indeed!

This is MY MUST HAVE!!! I Love, Love this Golden Roll!!!! Prawn and mangoes!!!! Loves it!

This is the Ebiten Floss Maki which is prawn maki with chicken floss!!! I like this too!!!

This is the Ebikko Tempura Maki... I like it, but I actually took the wrong dish, it resembled my soft shell crab.. But, it wasn't!

Decided to be a little adventurous and tried this Ebi Mentai. Prawn and topped with salmon roe... Not bad It tasted like grilled + herbs instead!

This is Padrekins and Darrell's California Temaki.. It was really temaki.. Te means hand, and temaki means hand made! See, you learn something new everyday!

Our assortment of sushis! Very delicious and filling, and the total cost for the meal is 140 MYR!!

Let me get this out in the open, we love Japanese food! Like Padrekins said, I can eat Japanese food everyday while referring to his raw salmon! Madrekins on the other hand, pity her... Have to eat something palatable while in a Japanese restaurant with us.

Padrekins favourite sushi place is at Tropicana City Mall called Sushi Tei. It is accessible for him and he just loves the food there. Anyways, I'm kinda sick and tired of sushi because we eat it so often!

I'm afraid that sushi overdose will make me look Japanese, somehow! No offence but I love sushi!!! So, enjoy this DOUBLE FEATURE special edition sushi posts from me! Go, eat some sushi for me... RIGHT NOW!!!

Japanese Food: Lunch @ Pasta Zanmai, 1U

Spicy Kaisen Miso Soup which was just nice, it's tangy with just a hint of spiciness and it's filled with seafood..

This is not your ordinary temaki! This is my soft shell crab temaki. You get to choose to wrap it in seaweed or tortilla (Which Madrekins love because she hates seaweed!) and it has no rice in it at all, so, don't be shocked! I would recommend the spicy mayo to go with it!

We were contemplating to steal the teapot back because it was so cute!!! Even the Ocha tastes better!

HAD TO try the Warm Sake. The first few sips, it tasted weird and I didn't like it, but since it wasn't cheap, I got used to the taste and I don't mind it...

This is the Mini Unagi Rice which is served with another dish which I forgot to take the picture and forgotten what it was! I didn't even eat this because I don't really fancy unagi...

This is Itachoco Monaka which is ice cream filled wafers! To me, I kinda liked it but to the rest, it wasn't that good!

WE LOVED THIS Ebi To Mochi No Cheese Pizza!!! The crust, the cheese, the whole pizza tastes sooooo good! Chewy, crunchy, crispy!!! MUST TRY!!!

Since the previous dessert was disappointing, we ordered this Choco Banana which was sooo much better! The whole glass is filled to the brim with bananas, chocolate ice cream, chocolate drizzle, chocolate sauce, corn flakes!!! DELICIOUS!

Just wanted to show off my Forever 21 Turquiose Bow head band that was a gift from XY! Cuteness!!!

Candy and Madrekins paying each other...

Me and the Hongkie, Yan Yan cheh!!! Gosh, we look so old here!!! We're actually VERY YOUNG!

Every Saturday or Sunday, we (Candy, Madrekins, Yan Yan) enjoy trying out new restaurants and shopping. There's no other way I know besides eating and shopping on how to spend my weekend!

This time, we decided to try Pasta Zanmai (please do not confuse yourself with SUSHI ZANMAI, the sushi joint that I normally spend my Fridays at!) Pasta Zanmai is located near Sakae Sushi and Carl's Jr.

You will not know that it's a restaurant until you walk into the japanese shop. It's the only Japanese Shop over there so, don't be shy, walk right in and you'll discover a delicious restaurant hidden behind Japanese biscuits, snacks, sauces and stuff!

Well, if you like it, you can shop to your heart's content after you fill your stomach! The food here is slightly on the higher end but if you're looking for something new to try, do give Pasta Zanmai a try! You will come back!

Weekend Getaway

Ah Gun and Yan Yan at the temple! Try being 6 hours plus in the car with her... Time sure flies!

Mi Familia, isn't the view just gorgeous! I was hoping to see the sunset but I'm not sure if this is the West or the East!

This is Teluk Batik, don't bother trying to be all geography on me cause it's a God forsaken place. The majority of people here are locals! It's a very secluded place!

The pool of baby turtles at the conservation! There are hundreds of them in 1 pool! They're really cute!

These are the bigger turtles! The just laze and swim around this big pool! Some of them are friendly, and some not!

The one that I touched, I think he's friendly!!! You can see the hands belonging to Yan Yan and Ah Gun asking me to becareful! Not sure if they meant, be careful, don't drop into the pool or be careful, the turtle might bite you!

Madrekins, Padrekins, Ah Gun and Yan Yan! This beach is really clean but somehow, there wasn't anyone there!

A couple of weeks back, we decided to getaway from the city, so we drove 3+ hours to Sitiawan to a place called Teluk Batik. Had the Hongkie Yan Yan making so much of noise in the car, 3 hours gone by just like that! She's going to kill me if she reads this!

Anyways, we spent some time exploring the place! They have really good food! You should try the Michelin Star restaurant there... Cheap and nice. Ah Gun then took us to a turtle conservation called Pusat Pengurusan Penyu in Segari and a temple inside the Pangkalan Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia! The view was just so beautiful from the temple!

No one could expect a small town to have so many interesting things and good food! Anyways, we had a good rest, met some good friends and came home relaxed!

I'm in one of my vegetarian phases right now. Last month, it was the "No Seafood Month" Campaign which I SUCCESSFULLY consumed NOTHING from the Ocean! This month, I decided to totally go vegetarian. I thought that it would be difficult because I have to have my small portion of meat and Madrekins isn't a fan of vegetarian.

Being in Malaysia, it's relatively much simpler! It's been 1 week and I surprisingly have no craving for meat! I've been eating lots of veggies, mock meat and I found out that Pizza Hut actually have a vegetarian pizza!!! Was really excited!!! Since I'm no longer working, I have more time to take care of myself.

Been waking up at 8AM, taking 3 dogs out for a walk, cycle for another 30 minutes and have an apple for breakfast! Lunch is a small bowl of vegeroni pasta, slightly grilled oyster mushroom, herb pasta sauce, and topped with tonnes of cranberries and fresh coral leaves! It's creamy with a tinge of sweetness from the cranberries and it's delish!

Anyways, I apologize profusely that I've been neglecting this blog. No worries, Will have ALL THE TIME in the world to update from now on... Some quick updates, I don't think I'll be working anytime soon... I worked at 2 different places in 2 months and since it's almost May, that means Ili and Isaac Hubby will be back!!!! Will go back to job hunting after that or decide if I want to go back to school!

SEGi UC (1 March 2010 - 25 March 2010)

My going away present from Zen! He drew me! I think it looks like me... Good effort though!

This is Jamel! He's like the really nice guy there... He was very patient with me and he's one of my good friends!

I have no idea this bust is who.. I keep calling it Aristotle! There's lots of similiar bust like these all over SEGi UC!

This is the view from my office! I walked those path everyday to go to the office!

This is my personal artist Zen Lim! He's an art student! Really talented in drawing!!! Real nice guy as well!

I like calling them the couple! Shah and Presad!!! They were my makan buddy, my buddy and my good friends!

This lovely girl is my BFF at SEGi! Her name is Siti Mariam and they hired her the same time as me!

I was just showing off my Forever 21 shift dress which was an ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!!! It's only 59MYR! And my Miss Selfridge Orange cardigan which cost 159MYR!

Below are just some pictures of the surrounding of SEGi UC! A lot of Roman inspired fountains, decos and stuff!

I was working here for approximately 25 days and I loved it here!!! Albeit one person but the rest of the people here are really nice and friendly. They all genuinely want to help you and they are so approachable! I managed to make some really good friends during my tenure here.

Until now, I somehow miss them so much! Unfortunately, due to some certain human circumstances, I had to leave. But, I never once regretted ever knowing them!

~you know you love it~
