Art of Love

"I'm still learning the art of love, I'm still trying to not mess up, So whenever I stumble let me know, You need to spell it out, Cause I’m still trying to learn the art of love..." - Art of Love by Jordin Sparks ft. Guy Sebastian

When we're in love, everything is good and great, but when we fight, it's nasty as we don't think about what we're saying, we only want to hurt the other person. I'm not talking about a simple BF/GF relationship, I'm talking about relationships with everyone we love.

But in a BF/GF relationship, we choose to let it go and try to make it work because we love the other person. But it's not as easy as it sound. There's other factors such as pride. But I like to think that 2 person are on this adventure called "Relationship" together, so...

"Sometimes I’m gonna miss
I’m still learning how to give
I’m not giving up
I’m still learning how to love"

When I'm pissed at someone I try very hard to remember the way I felt when we weren't fighting. I try thinking about the way he loves me so much and makes me laugh. But when it comes to my mother, I try and remember about everything that she did and sacrificed for me.

It's not easy because I have too much pride. But then again, pride doesn't get you anywhere! When you're lonely, you're going to be very sorry about what you've said and wishing that you could take it back.

Before I go, this post is just me being emo to my current fav song which is Art of Love. Just got me thinking. Anyways, here's a quote to keep you going:

I'll take fights over loneliness anytime.

Marry me?

I believe in holy matrimony. I guess I’m a romantic and I believe in the concept of marriage. Some call it a union, other call it an institution. (They same way I think that religion is an institution!) I see marriage as a beautiful thing, which should be done in extravagance once in everyone’s life.

Marriage is like signing the contract, the other half is legally bonded and obligated to accept you, be there for you in sickness, health, richer and poorer. Even a simple ceremony can be utterly beautiful. It’s not putting on a gown and saying "I Do".

There’s more to that. It’s about a commitment to love and cherish and be a part of someone’s life and the beginning of a new life for the bride and groom. I’ve always thought that a woman’s life before marriage is like a caterpillar and after marriage, she’s a butterfly.

My parents have been married for 23 years and after so many fights and wishing they were divorced, they’re still together. My dad nags too much and pisses my mom off and my mom is too calculative and he can’t stand it. I’ve always believed that fights are better than being lonely.

I’ve seen some very beautiful proposals as well as weddings and I’ve even have several playlists for my own wedding! (It’s a different story, will continue later!) But since I’m fickle and I love so many songs, it’s really darn hard to choose!

But I will give you a glimpse of some of my favourite songs, (I’m going to be assertive about this!) most romantic proposals and some amazing pictures.

I think the most romantic thing is the surprise factor. When a girl least expect it, you can do anything and it will consider romantic. Any guy who could kneel down in Times Square, New York or do it with a billboard, it shows that he put it much effort in asking you to be a part of his life and grow old with him.

Here's my playlist:

D'Banj - Fall In Love
North - Picture of You
Jeremiah Clarke - The Prince of Denmark's March
Carlos Baute con Marta Sanchez - Colgando en Tus Manos
Far East Movement - Rocketeer
Train - Marry Me
Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah
Matthew Morrison - Summer Rain
Taylor Swift - Love Story
Katy Perry - E.T
Il Divo - Amazing Grace
Take That - Rule The World
Guy Sebastian ft. Jordin Sparks - Art of Love
Beyonce - Halo
Enrique Iglesias - Tonight I'm Lovin You
Bruno Mars - Marry You
Keith Urban - You're My Better Half
Rascall Flatts - Bless The Broken Road
Peter Gabriel - The Book Of Love
K-Ci & JoJo - All My Life
Shayne Ward - Breathless
Ne-Yo - Sexy Love
Tom Jones - It's Not Unusual
Andra & The Back Bone - Sempurna
Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
RBD - Tu Amor
Destiny's Child - Brown Eyes
Daniel Bedingfield - If You're Not The One
Scotty McCreerly - I Love You This Big

My fav place to view all those pretty wedding pitures and their equally beautiful stories are International Weddings and Photography

I just love reading and going through those pictures. It's like being a gues at someone's private event when they declare their love for each other. My favourite part of a wedding? The way the groom looks at the bride as she walks down the aisle.

I love weddings. It's a reunion of 2 families and their cultures. 2 very different people are going to be spending the rest of their lives together because of just 1 reason, LOVE.

My idea of a perfect proposal would be just amongst some close friends, having dinner, and he just pops the question. That's it. I'm a simple girl I know! LOL!

MarketPlace

Went to MP over the weekend to club. Marketplace is different and the people there are like, super friendly and it's the safest place for me. Do you know what I mean now?

I met a few of my very old friends, especially my Paullie Wallie
which I haven't met in like, AGES!!! Super miss him like, tonnes!!! I think I last saw him was about 3-4 years ago! He's still the same ol' super bitchy him!

Just took some time off to chill, drink, enjoy the company of good friends and just catch up and bitch about other people. Hahaha! These guys are amazing! Unlike normal clubs, I considered myself very well behaved. No stripping, no being drunk and no flashing!

And yes, I didn't forget about the post I owe you... The wedding one. Will do it soon okies?

Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Watched the preview screening of The Pirates yesterday at 1 Utama thanks to
female Mag Malaysia and I've been a fan of the pirates installments and man, I'm crazy for Captain Jack Sparrow!! He's funny, eccentric, sarcastic and dirty!

If I wasn't all grown up already, I would want to be a female pirate like Anjelica (Penelope Cruz) and go on adventures around the 7 seas. Anyways, this time, Pirates is focused more on Captain Jack Sparrow and his quest to find the Fountain of Youth.

Along with Captain Barbossa and the Spanish armada and Blackbeard and his daughter Anjelica, everyone has their own agenda. Capt. Barbossa wants to kill Blackbeard for revenge for his Black Pearl, the Spanish wants to destroy the fountain because they believed that one should have faith in Catholism while Capt Jack Sparrow was somehow entangled in the whole adventure.

There's pretty but dangerous mermaids, a holy man and non stop actions and comedy from Capt Jack Sparrow. I really loved this movie and I didn't miss what'shisface? and Keira Knightley. I truly enjoyed myself if the seats wasn't like, the 3rd row from the screen.

I loved, loved, loved, Captain Jack Sparrow even more after the movie. Anyways, security that night was super tight. Cell phones have to be kept in a "locker" and all sorts of body checks before you could even enter the cinema. It's like GSC is under a lock-down.

It's All About Me!

Everyone knows my name, who actually knows me? The answer is no one except God because even I don't know myself. I tend to do things based on the situation and I most of the time, I am random but I always take responsibilities about what I say and do.

" I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"

Now, do you know whay I love Alice in Wonderland? Here's what I do know...

I LOVE:

- Animals.
- Spanish Poems.
- Justin Bieber.
- Bubbles.
- Long walks on the beach.
- Pretty things.
- Shiny things.
- Floral prints.
- Lace.
- Books.
- Spongebob Squarepants.
- Pennywhistles.
- Travelling.
- Balloons.
- Roses.
- Rocky Road Ice Cream.
- Bubble Tea.
- Sipping tea with Macaroons.
- Cakes.
- Singing in the car.
- Playing in the rain.

What I HATE however, are:

- Braggarts
- Options and choices.
- Unruly developers.
- Corrupted politicians.
- Horny Old Men.
- Fake Aaccents.
- People with No Respect For Time.
- Heels that you couldn't have fun in!
- Big, fat Bullies.
- Wannabe.
- Racism.

Babies and Dogs

Been watching a lot of videos about how babies and dogs interact and it's so amazingly cute to see these dogs getting along well with babies. These videos just made my day... I keep smiling whenever I see it!

Of course, as parents we have to supervise and make sure that the baby and dog doesn't get too rough with each other. Most importantly, you have to keep a watchful eye on the dog because they might show signs of aggresion.

These videos are my favourites because it just shows that animals and humans are able to get along. It is when humans become selfish, arrogant and mean that this beautiful symbiosis goes wrong.

I would want my babies (1 boy and 1 girl) to get along with Dobermans, Rotts and St. Bernards (my fav breeds!) and I want to raise them in such an environment where they will respect and love animals as well as the environment.

Children nowadays, sad to say that parents have gone sick in the head. Traditional values are no longer imposed rather, ways to turn children into adults. Kids no longer have the time to be kids! There's no time for play. It's always tuition, music classes, swimming, taekwondo, ballet, mandarin.

It's nauseating. I grew up visiting zoos, animal parks, petting and loving animals, where my parents taught me to donate money to help other children and i'm taught to reduce electricity and plastic usage and lead a green life.

Being around with animals so much, I learnt to respect them. It comes to a point where I could touch anything. Stray dogs, snakes, anything. This is called proper upbringing. Even the Buddhist teaching was to respect all forms of life.

I see children, throwing stones at animals, kicking cats, stepping on them, putting them in ovens, and when I went to the elephant sanctuary, children are throwing peanut shells into the elephant enclosures. People nowadays are disgusting and horrible that they make me sick.

I vow to bring my child up the way I was brought up and I'm thankful to have such great parents.

Why?

Blogger, what is wrong with you? Why are you misbehaving? Why is your layout so horrible? I mean, the boxes about me, and the links, the music lists should be on the right, why are they at the bottom?

It's not what I signed up for... I thought you were perfect before, is it me or you? The blog should be under construction until further notice. Till then.

Levain, KL

Insisted that I wanna visit this place after Kathy Lee Seul Ki posted pictures of macaroons and cakes from here that got my mouth watering. Plus, it has her two thumbs up for macaroons!

I love macaroons. I'm very hard to impress and to me, the perfect macaroon has to be crisp on the outside, a little chewy in the centre and the filing in the centre that holds 2 macaroons together has to be just right!

Well, the macaroons here are just nice. But i somehow prefer the cake. I had the Noisette which was halzelnut Dacquoise, Dark Mousse and Pralinosa Mousse. All pastries in this post costs a total of 30MYR.

But as I was happily taking pictures, they don't allow pictures in here, coz they're stuck up like that... I don't think anyone of us are such brilliant people to reproduce a bread/pastries based on a picture. There were a few camera toting people that was disappointed as well.

I've always mentioned this, why spend so much money on renovation and decoration if you don't allow people to take pictures? Anyways, too bad. But if you do wanna find out more, visit Levain

Coach Bags from USA!!

Padrekins got these bags for me and Madrekins because well, Padrekins is cool like that! LOL! I think he felt guilty cause he's back in New York and went to Philly, Canada and Washington while we stayed at home.

Anyways, he got these at a discount. The bags costs 398USD, 328USD and 228USD respectively but it was 30% off and Padrekins won some money gambling, so it was his present for us.

He got us the 3 bags, and 2 coin purses... I have to be a good girl and share with Madrekins! Anyways, I do love, love them!!! They're fresh off the plane, air flown to my doorstep! LOL! I think I just described Sakae's fresh air flown salmon!!!

But, But, but, I really want the Mulberry Bayswater (Bright Cabbage
/ Hot Pink) and Kate Spade Paley Paisley Small Karen and the very funky Kate Spade Tropica Jezibel

Nice right?

Morib with SPIC.

Had a great day with SPIC (Sanctuary Praise International Church) at Morib. Why we were at Morib? For BAPTISM of course!!! LOL! I was there with my besties, Naledi M., Her hubby, John, Olisa and Emerson.

OK, I have to clarify somethings, I wasn't there for MY baptism. I was just there to blow bubbles, enjoy the sea breeze and chill with my friends. Besides, I miss the food at Tanjung Sepat!

The wind was blowing so violently that I didn't have to blow the bubbles, the wind blew long and tonnes of bubbles!!! I know I'm like a kid... I love bubbles!

Deerland, Lanchang

Deerland is a little petting farm that is located in Lanchang, about 45 mins after Bentong. It's around 6MYR per entry, per person. This place differs from the zoo because you could actually feed, play and touch some of the animals.

I love the hungry deers that looks at you with those big eyes begging for potatoes from you. (Everyone will be given 1 basket of potatoes to feed the deers!) and after that, you can see beautiful birds. Peacocks and exotic birds.

Then, you can feed little baby chicks and it's so ticklish! After that, you can carry the huge snake if you're not afraid to be it's final meal! Then, the highlight of the whole place, you can touch a Malayan Sun Bear!!! How often can you touch a full grown bear?!!

It's super cool and super entertaining. Families and anyone who loves animals would definitely love it. The animals are kept in a clean surrounding and surprisingly, no stinky smell cause it's clean like that!

Dini's Wedding

Isn't everything just lovely? The pelamin and the lovely couple.
This is Dina, Dini's sister and we used to be buddies back then... Gosh! I missed her!
Gues who else I met?? My lovely cousins Ilylia and Nabila! This is our konon-konon "family picture"
They had this rich, decadent chocolate cake. Just a simple makan makan.

On Thursday, I got robbed as I was in my garden. I was so pissed and if I had a weapon, I would have killed the person. I swear. I technically lost everything in my Charles & Keith bag. I had a lot of memories because my mom bought me that bag as my Starting Work gift and Nokia E72 was also a gift from her and so is my Fossil wallet.

It's so fucked up because these people just wanted money. They could have just threw my cards back to me but instead, they threw my cards at the side of the road in Bangsar like it was some rubbish. I pray that karma will go back to them 1000 X fold.

My IC/ License/ DiGi sim card/ MBB Debit and even 1Card has been replaced FOC. Unfortunately, extremely disappointed with Juiceworks, Dorothy Perkins who refused to replaced my card on compassionate grounds even when I produced my police report. They still wanted me to pay for their cards. Fuck them, heartless motherfuckers.

Anyways, It's been a hectic and busy weekend. Weddings, out-station-ing, baptism-ing... Just wanted to say that albeit all these shit, I still managed to have fun. I had a good time at Dini's wedding. We've been friends since Form 2. She's one of the nicest prefect in school. The sweetest, in fact.

I'm so happy for her. She's so brave to tie the knot and she's blessed as I can see that they love each other very much.
